I've known Carmen for several years now. We visit her farm by Lesser Slave Lake for a glorious weekend every summer. When she found out she was pregnant,  she told a friend of mine that she now had an excuse to have us take her photo. We were honoured.

As she and her partner Chris live three hours north , we scheduled the session at a friend's house a few days before she was due. I've said it before,  I love the lifestyle maternity session. It is relaxed, fun, and challenges our creativity in that you have to find interesting places to showcase that awesome belly. I am really proud of how these turned out. In a few posts, we'll show you the end product of this beautiful session.
